Let me tell you a Little Story……

The first Irish Breakfast I had delivered to my door was a few years ago and it was scrumtious.

I will never forget the day the brown van pulled up to my house with a surprise package.

What could this be, I thought … and then, when I opened it I could smell the Irish Rashers. mmm

It was a select package with a combination of Donnelly’s Sausages, Rashers (for those of you who dont know what “rashers” are, well,. its Irish Bacon. I had a friend named Rasher one time, anyway thats a long story…….. for another time.

To continue, this package also had Brown Bread (Soda Bread) Irish Black and White Pudding and a big stick of Kerrygold Butter. I wondered about the butter melting because it came from New York and I live in Florida, but it was refrigerated with some kinda frozen ice packs and it was sooo fresh, and healthy as a leprechaun with his pot of gold.

Anyway, getting back to the story, the very first thing I did was cut a slice of the brown bread and put some Kerrygold Butter on it and let me tell you… I thought I was in heaven. It reminded me of the brown bread that my mother used to make, God be good to her.

I fried the Irish Rashers & Sausages straight away and called all my friend and asked them what they thought I was doing? Well, I’m having an Irish Breakfast so come over and join me.

An hour later my Irish Breakfast package was gone, but at least I savored the Brown Bread for a couple of days.

I’ve had many Irish Breakfast’s since then that always conjures up long forgotten memories of my childhood days and my homeland, which is dear Ireland. Try an Irish Breakfast today, you’ll be happy you did. Hey, you can even give me a call and I might join you! I never refuse a good Irish Breaky.
